The following terms and conditions apply to all persons who purchase tickets to Sunset Drive-In Cinema
 
This includes online tickets, Moshtix venues and POS.
1.0 Tickets sold by Sunset Drive-in Cinema are subject to the following terms and conditions
1.1 Tickets attract a booking fee and are inclusive of GST . All online bookings accept Mastercard, Visa and Bankcard. The booking fee is non refundable
1.2 POS are cash only GST inclusive and no booking fee. Subject to availability
1.3 Entry To Sunset Drive-In cinema is on the presentation of a valid bar-coded Moshtix ticket. This ticket will be sent via email upon purchase in PDF Format or be issued to you at a Moshtix outlet
Please ensure that attendee details are on the ticket.
1.4 NO REFUND ON TICKET SALES. All sales are final, unless the event is cancelled. Sunset cinema does not provide refunds for inadvertently booking the wrong session, patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not e revalidated unless a screening is cancelled by Sunset Cinema
1.5 If a movie session is cancelled or terminated by Sunset Drive-In Cinema due to adverse weather conditions, your tickets will be transferrable for any other night of our season.
1.6 Cancellation is at the discretion of Sunset Drive-in Cinema Management and can be made prior to or during a screening.
1.7 In the event that a session is cancelled by Sunset Drive-In Cinema, the front page of this website will advise of the cancellation by 5.30pm (where possible - inclement weather may cause the movie to be cancelled after 5.30pm).
1.8 If a movie session is cancelled or terminated due to decision by the host venue or other occurrence outside the Sunset Drive-in Cinema’s direct control, your tickets will be transferrable for any other night of our season.
1.9 If a movie session is cancelled or terminated due to a mechanical breakdown your tickets will be transferrable for any other night of our season.
1.10 Sunset Drive-In Cinema reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute movie titles and to vary advertised prices, seating arrangements or audience capacity without notice.
1.11 Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable time during the movie.

Conditions of Entry to the Sunset Drive-in Cinema

2.0 Sunset Drive-In Cinema reserves the right to refuse entry to the venue.
2.1 This is an 18+ years and over event. Those under 18 years of age will only be permitted when accompanied by a parent of guardian.
2.2 The Sunset Drive-In Cinema is a fully licensed and catered event. There is strictly no glass, no BYO drinks policy on the roof. All bags are subject to a safety and security search upon entry. Any prohibited items will be confiscated. All patrons must adhere to local licensing laws and RSA practices.
2.3 Upon purchasing a ticket to Sunset Drive-in Cinema the purchaser agrees to be bound by the rules and regulations of the Liquor License that applies to the Sunset Drive-In Cinema site.
2.4 The Sunset Drive-In Cinema is an all weather event. Bring warm clothes, a blanket and some rain protection. If booking for open air seating. In the case of cooler conditions and light rain more car spaces will become available and less open air seating
2.5 Sunset Drive-In Cinema does not guarantee entry to persons who have been booked for a specific session, including complimentary tickets.
2.6 Persons holding complimentary tickets may enter subject to availability. Reservations are highly recommended. Conditions of entry apply.
2.7 Seating is non-reserved and at the discretion of Sunset Drive-In Cinema staff.
2.8 Patrons must remain within Sunset Drive-In Cinema's permitted areas only.
2.9 Sunset Drive-in Cinema reserves the right to eject any person/s who is intoxicated and/or causing a disturbance to other patrons; such person/s will not be entitled to a refund or exchange of tickets.
         

Sunset Drive-In Cinema admits up to 120 cars and seats 300 open air

Films Subject To Change without notice. Sunset Cinema is an all weather event and endeavour to broadcast advertised programs unless weather conditions are considered dangerous. If a session is cancelled in the event of dangerous weather all tickets for that session will be transferable to another session within the same screening season.
